We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Manager to join leading fashion retail company in Qatar. The Inventory Control Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient stock management, and optimization of inventory levels to support our retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management within the retail industry, with a focus on fashion or apparel.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory control procedures, policies, and systems to ensure accurate tracking, monitoring, and management of inventory across all retail locations.
- Stock Replenishment: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock based on sales trends, seasonal demands, and inventory turnover rates.
- Inventory Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of inventory data to identify slow-moving items, excess stock, and potential stockouts, and take appropriate actions to optimize inventory levels.
- Stock Accuracy: Implement measures to improve stock accuracy through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of inventory records with physical stock on hand.
- Loss Prevention: Implement loss prevention strategies and measures to minimize inventory shrinkage, theft, and damages, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory, resolve issues related to quality, quantity, and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Reporting: Prepare and analyze inventory reports, including stock levels, turnover rates, and aging stock, and provide regular updates to management on inventory performance and trends.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in inventory management practices, systems, and workflows, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the inventory control team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to inventory control policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to inventory management, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within the retail industry, with a focus on fashion or apparel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, with experience in implementing and utilizing inventory control tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
