HR Executive – Recruiter

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic HR Executive (Recruiter) to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with the ability to source, screen, and hire qualified candidates for various roles across the organization. The HR Executive will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and collaborating with department managers to meet staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs, create job descriptions, and define ideal candidate profiles for various roles.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including online job portals, social media, recruitment agencies, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct initial interviews (in-person, phone, or virtual) to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback to both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Maintain an updated talent pipeline for various positions to ensure quick response to staffing needs.
  • Conduct reference and background checks on potential hires.
  • Assist in drafting and sending offer letters, employment contracts, and other necessary hiring documents.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing clear communication and timely updates.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and sourcing effectiveness to improve hiring processes.
  • Keep up to date with recruitment best practices, trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
  • Support other HR functions, including employee engagement, performance management, and training and development, as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an HR Executive, Recruiter, or similar HR role, with a focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and job boards.
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting strategies and professional networks such as LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of labour laws, hiring practices, and recruitment compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
