Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Manager for our Travel and Tourism division, based in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of trip planning and event management, targeting the MEA market with a focus on B2B clients. Fluency in Arabic, French, and English is required. The role involves leading a team and driving business development across various segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel and Accommodation Planning:
- Plan and coordinate trips, hotel stays, and travel arrangements for a global customer base.
- Utilize IATA and Amadeus systems for booking, ticketing, and ensuring smooth travel operations.
- Event Management:
- Manage all event operations including venue setup, invitations, food & beverage arrangements, and logistical details.
- Work closely with the team to execute events and programs targeting the travel and tourism sector, with a special focus on the MEA market and targeting the travel and tourism sector (B2B ) for three language speakers ( Arabic – French – English )
- Client Management & Business Development:
- Contact potential B2B clients, establish rapport, and schedule meetings at our Dubai office to discuss travel, tourism, and event solutions.
- Customize travel and tourism packages based on the client’s budget and financial capabilities.
- Provide high-quality training and presentations to clients and the internal team on product benefits, offerings, and brand positioning.
- Work closely with the marketing team to enhance conversion rates for hotel packages, restaurant deals, and outdoor activities.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact between various departments including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring clear and efficient communication via phone calls and emails.
- Coordinate team activities, ensuring that staff requirements are met and aligned with client demands.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and guide a team of travel and event professionals, setting clear objectives and driving the team towards success in business development.
- Deliver coaching, training, and mentorship to ensure the team delivers high-quality services.
- Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify new event opportunities and travel trends.
- Generate interest in company services by staying ahead of industry trends and implementing innovative strategies.
- Technical & Systems Proficiency:
- Work efficiently with all computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Emails, and other online tools required for communication and planning.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of IATA and Amadeus systems for travel booking and ticketing.
- Proven experience in managing travel, tourism, and event operations, with a focus on the MEA region.
- Strong B2B sales and client management experience, particularly in the travel sector.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- High level of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, email systems, and other relevant software.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to research, strategize, and execute market opportunities effectively.
